SM01 Pair of Kippers Herring, slit in two, gutted & cleaned, then brined. Probably what we are most famous for – the combination of brining and smoking produces spectacular results. SM02 Pair of Bloaters Herring cold smoked whole, giving the fish a strong but less smokey flavour. Popular among the folk who prefer the old tradition of smoked herring Sold in Pairs (Approx 700g/pair £6.50/kg )
SM03 Smoked Haddock We only smoke fresh un-dyed haddock of the highest quality. It has a delicately smoked flavour, probably best described as "smooth" and as the best Smoked Haddock you will ever taste. £8.35/500g (approx) fillet (£16.70/kg)

SM09 Smoked Prawns We believe Cley Smokehouse was the first to produce a Smoked Prawn. Now famous along the coast our smoked Prawns are incredibly versatile - use as a starter, snack, in Rissotos, Paella, Pasta dishes etc. £6.70 per 500g pack. £13.40/kg

SM14 Pair of Buckling Hot smoked herring with the head & insides removed, retaing the roe. Giving a delicate combination of roast and smoke flavours. Equally delicious hot or cold. Recipe idea: Warm through gently, retain oils that are released, put warmed through herring to one side, put retained oils in a small pan and heat gently add 2 pinches of fresh taragon and mix in 3 tablespoons of double cream, bring to a simmer and pour over herring. serve with new potatoes and vegtables of choice.
