ORDER ACCEPTANCE.

We will always try to fulfil an order however there may be reasons an order cannot be fulfilled and we reserve the right not to accept an order. For an example we may not accept an order for one of the following reasons.

The product you ordered is unavailable from stock
We are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment
The identification of a pricing or product description error


We will inform you as soon as we can if we are unable to fulfil an order. Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the despatch of the products ordered to you unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it (see ORDER CANCELLATION below).

ORDER CANCELLATION.

You can cancel an order at any time up to the point of despatch. Contact us by email or telephone cancel the order, as payment is processed on despatch we will simply not take the payment from your card. Once the order has been despatched we are unable to cancel your order.

PRICING & DESCRIPTION ERRORS.

All product details entered on the site have been entered with due care however there may be errors. Where a description error becomes obvious we will contact you in order to establish if you wish to cancel the order - in which case no payment in full. Where a pricing error occurs, if the price is overstated we will despatch the order and refund the balance. Where the price is understated we will contact you and determine if you wish to pay the balance or cancel the order. NOTE. Order acceptance occurs at the point of product despatch - we reserve the right not to fulfil an order where a pricing error has occurred.

OUR SECURITY POLICY.

We at cleysmokehouse.com are committed to a secure transaction.

All card transactions are processed across a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) ensuring a secure link between your browser and the server. The familiar padlock becomes visible when you move to our secure area. No credit card details are stored on our servers.

If you are having problems connecting it may be because you have the security settings at too high a level on your browser. You can try reducing these or, if you feel uncomfortable with this, why not order by phone? As per the details on our home page.

When you shop with us, on the web, by phone, by fax or by post you will have given us your name, address, phone number and e-mail address, because this is the only way we can process your order.

We will not pass your details on to any 3rd party - this includes your e-mail address! Unless you have selected the "no promotion" check box when entering orders we may occasionally e-mail you details of special promotions we are running ourselves or discount vouchers you can use. This does not mean you will be deluged - these activities really are occasional. Anyway, just send us an e-mail back to un-subscribe and you will never hear from us again.

PAYMENT & DELIVERY INFORMATION.

Payment by credit card

We accept most major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Switch and Solo.

Your card is debited when we despatch the goods. The exact value of your order is calculated at the point of despatch and where catch weight products are included in the order may differ slightly from the order value indicated in the shopping cart. This is a result of calculating the order value for products ordered by individual unit and paid for by kg. For a detailed explanation see Catch Weight Products.

Payment by telephone

Not everybody likes using their credit card across the net. If you prefer, you can of course order by phone. Telephone 01263 740282 to discuss your requirements.

Delivery:

This is independent of the value of the order. Items are normally despatched same or next working day and should therefore arrive in 2 - 3 days. Please make sure that there is somebody there to receive the order.

We do not make regular deliveries overseas but if you would like to order please contact us for a quote.

RETURNS.

At cleysmokehouse.com we are committed to customer satisfaction and offer a full refund service in the unlikely event your fish does not arrive in good condition. See our freshness guarantee.

Please telephone us on 01263 740282 if you order is not satisfactory. Cley smokehouse reserves the right not to refund orders where a complaint has not been received within 24 hours of delivery.
